Shot by Wayne Rooney (Man Utd) drilled right-footed from right channel (18 yards), blocked by Gary Neville (Man Utd).
does he get 2 points for that BS? ;)
also, do blocked shots count as SOT's? ronaldo had a shot and it was blocked by babayaro. does this count as a SOT? or does it have to be saved by the keeper to be a SOT?
That also seems to be what happened to Downing several weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteanyone know if downing is still alive? i have him for like ages!
ReplyDeleteget rid of downing.
ReplyDeletealso, this is to neal and jeremy. what happened to monday morning manager. i used to enjoy reading that.
also, i think you should have a weekly post on which players to get before the update. on friday you're going to give advice on what team to get, but most of the players in that team's price is going to increase a lot. eg. this week beattie, henry, darren bent, rooney's prices have all increased loads and most people won't be able to afford them if they haven't bought them preupdate
The Manager is on hols until his job and his daughter conspire to return his attention span.
ReplyDeleteBut thanks for the kind words.
As for Downing (see, I can't even remember the 2 things I wanted to say) it seems like Mclaren is bagging the league - I know, hasn't he been doing that all year - to focus on the UEFA and FA cups. Good for him if he thinks they can get back into Europe that way. But it's a shame for the the league.. and for fantasy managers sitting on Downing.
ReplyDeletealonso scores 3.5pts! yes! at least i no i made a gd choice by picking him and was unluky for him 2 get sent off. cooda got 15-20 pts out of him this week. just a bit unluky
ReplyDeleteBrutal week for me so far -- only real points have been out of Ronaldo, and I was thinking about dropping him for Malbranque. So there's one good decision.
ReplyDeleteGood call on Middlesbrough by the way, they are officially dead to fantasy managers now.
I'm with you - I'm having a TERRIBLE week. Jeremy was good enough to let me back in the race at the top of our league last week by trading off of Samaras at the last moment.
ReplyDeleteBecause I'm such a nice guy, I returned the favor by going from Camara/Hyypia to Barton/Finnan at the last moment because I was worried that Hyypia might be kept out by his injury. Oops.
Is Silvestre injured?
ReplyDeleteMight be a good time to pick up Evra.
yes. alonso is suspended.
ReplyDeletei decided to drop rooney, beattie and nolan just so that i could fit henry into my team. i thought that hopefully rooney's price will drop a bit vs west brom and i'll buy him then. i hope i made the right choice by going for henry this week. it has completely messed up my team. i have ronaldo though who is a king! 4 sot's this week incredible! also got evra. he scored 12 points in 45 mins. that's crazy. he could have scored 20 in the whole game. hope silvestre doesn't return.
