Now this is just getting ridiculous

Stomach complaint may sideline Ruud
Ruud van Nistelrooy could be struggling to win his Manchester United starting spot back after pulling out of Holland's friendly win over Ecuador with a stomach complaint.

...

But those hopes could now be in jeopardy as United medical staff assess the extent of a complaint which proved enough to force Van Nistelrooy to stand down from the Dutch side that recorded a 1-0 triumph, with his replacement Dirk Kuyt netting the only goal.

    Ethan Scott's week 30 preview:

This week the bottom 3 teams are all playing away from home. So quite a a lot of good picks out there:

    Strikers:

    Players to consider:
    Samaras, Vassell
    Baros
    Yakubu, Hasslebaink
    Ashton
    Helguson, Collins John
    Saha
    Gudjohnsen, Drogba
    Crouch, Fowler

    Who i'm going with:-
This week my strikeforce will consist of Georgios Samaras, Yakubu and Milan Baros.
Samaras will start for Man City this week as Andy Cole is out with an injury. Man City are playing Sunderland at home this week, so any Man City players that start at the weekend look like great picks. Man City have won there last 5 home games and Sunderland are bottom of the league. Pearce bought Samaras in the January transfer window and so far has scored 1 goal in 4 premiership games. Samaras is very cheap and should be in most people's teams this week.
Yakubu is a bit more expensive than Samaras, and is in fact over twice the price. Yakubu will most likely partner Hasslebaink upfront this weekend vs Birmingham. Birmingham are 18th in the table and playing away from home. Yakubu is Boro's topscorer this season with 18 goals and I think he will add to that tally this weekend. Boro have won a lot of games recently including a 3-0 home win over Chelsea, so we should see another Boro win this weekend.
Milan Baros will start for Villa this week vs a poor Portsmouth side. I think he could score this week against a poor Pompey side that have lost their last 8 away games. Villa have only won 3 home games this season but I expect this to be their 4th.

I don't have time to finish the weekend preview, but next week I hope to do a full preview.

My team for this week is:
    Samaras, Baros, Yakubu
    Milner, Downing, Kewell, Riera
    Ramage, Kromkamp, Pogatetz
    Reina
