Chelsea pull out of Cole transfer

Chelsea pull out of Cole transfer - Yahoo! Sport UK
Chelsea have ruled out signing Arsenal left-back Ashley Cole "in the current circumstances" after claiming the asking price is too high.Arsenal have reportedly asked for £25million for the 25-year-old England defender, and Chelsea claim they will not buy unless the price drops.
The quotes don't seem as cut-and-dried as the headline would indicate. But this could clear up the left-back position at two clubs and barring any futher developments, give fantasy managers the chance to make their picks. While Cole is the cheaper option, he is a 1-gamer in week 1 to Bridge's 2 games.

aye, but would you pick Bridge over G-Nev? Both get forward and drop in crosses...and since Bridge was injured last year, there's no way to compare. However, with 12 fewer games than most, G-Nev still dropped in the third most SCs last year...

Good point there, but over the course of the seaon, you would expect chelsea to keep more clean sheets than MU,giving bridge a lot of "free" points.that was a painful admission from an MU fan :(
