One final tribute to Dennis Bergkamp as we start to look forward to the new season. My favorite part of this goal is that you can see Bergie calling for the ball 40 yards out. Great entry pass from Pires, and the rest is just magic.
Agree with Devil. As a ManYoo die hard, but lover of the beautiful game, Bergkamp is a legend ... and that has to be one of the all time best goals in the Premier League.
Having just watched the replay of the Testimonial on GolTV here in the States, the frightening thing is that he didn't rate this one as his best ever (it was in the top 3).
Defining memory of a master. Unshamed admission of an MU fan
ReplyDeleteYet another Ajax legend. Thanks Dennis.

ReplyDeleteHe rates the 4th one in this compilation as his best.
It reminds me of Matt le Tissier's goal against Newcastle ages past (I'm a Southampton fan haha)... Yet another master has come and gone.
ReplyDeleteSo...does the manager still feel the same as he did in June:
ReplyDeleteBerbatov, Ballack, Sheva, Rosicky +7??
The Manager sees no reason to change his stance as yet.
