Substitute Clean Sheet

Here's hoping for Kromkamp's late entry in a Liverpool shutout of Charlton and a quick and easy 4pts. And of course, Ambrose remaining on the bench.

Follow along here - Charlton - Liverpool

UPDATE: Well, so much for that idea.
42'Goal! Charlton Athletic 1, Liverpool 0. Darren Bent (Charlton Athletic) converts the penalty with a right footed shot to the bottom left corner.
42'Jerzy Dudek (Liverpool) is shown the yellow card.
41'Penalty conceded by Jerzy Dudek (Liverpool) after a foul in the penalty area.
41'Penalty Charlton Athletic. Darren Bent draws a foul in the penalty area.

How does this affect Dudek's price for next week, not to mention his chances of starting both matches?

UPDATE 2: And while I was updating this post:
45'+3' Goal! Charlton Athletic 2, Liverpool 0. Luke Young (Charlton Athletic) right footed shot from a difficult angle on the right to the bottom left corner. Assisted by Alexei Smertin.

When it rains it pours. Time to figure out whom I need to sell to afford Friedel for the week.

Foul by Darren Bent (Charlton) on Xabi Alonso (Liverpool). Direct free kick taken right-footed by Xabi Alonso (Liverpool) from own half, passed.

this is why i love fantasy football:

i see that d. bent has commited a foul... my heart starts racing... i've lost 0.5pts!... i keep on reading... the foul is on alonso... yes! +0.5pts! he's also in my team!

    lol

annoying that the bents both hit the woodwork. i was just a few inches away from 20pts! m. bent hit the bar for me last game too! points should be awarded for hitting the post! lol

  2. alas, hitting the post is the least off-target a shot can be without being on target. ;-)

m bent is useless and no amount of lumberjacking is going to change that.

    lol. he is indeed.

extra points from d. bent tho. the assist came from him.

on bbc it said the assist was by smertin, but at the end it changed it to d. bent

getting rid of gerrard for reid (blackburn) is the best feeling ever! freed up 13 units. can't wait to get rid of alonso and kewelll tomorrow! i'll actually be able to buy 2 strikers.

    some questions:
is adebayor (arsenal) worth keeping at 5.xx units (now he's 8.xx)?
    same with moore (villa)?

also, what about s. downing? he's home vs. chelsea this week. people have said that he's a long term investment, but if i don't get rid of him this week, i'll get rid of him next week because boro don't play anyone that week. does downing usually do badly against good teams or will he continue to play his game and get lots of crosses and points?

Ditch Downing! Keep Adebayor. In fact, I bought Adebayor only this week for 8.xx. I reckon Arsenal would be putting in crosses against both Bolton and Liverpool, and that could mean SOTs, CWs or better still, GOALs from Kanu-like Ade.

I bought Downing cheap so I'll keep him.

Should I get Steven Reid or Brett Emerton next week?

i have reid, not sure if he's a good pick though.

don't get emerton though, because he is likely to start on the bench

also, will adebayor start? RVPersie's back
