Another one bites the snow

Not the KC Stadium we're talking about, but a relevant photo none-the-less.

So says Hull City:

Following safety advice due to the prevailing weather conditions, tomorrow's home game against Chelsea has been postponed.

That brings out total to five matches off.

Burnley v Stoke
Chelsea v Hull
Fulham v Portsmouth
Liverpool v Tottenham
Sunderland v Bolton

Choose accordingly.

  1. Think I should bite the bullet and hold onto Graham Alexander with a 3 bonus on him?

  2. - I would hold up on making any changes until the last possible minute. Fantasy deadline is 4am PST and I'm setting the alarm to double check what games were possibly postponed the morning of in the UK.
    - I'm glad I kept Drogs at this rate! but I'm not ready to gut my team for the few games that still MIGHT be played. field conditions might be ok, but it's apparently cold(for them!) and I dunno if a lot of fantasy points will be scored.

I'm with Owen: the more CHE matches that get postponed, the better my (our) decision to hold Drogs through the ACN looks. Silver linings...

I'm also with Matt: I'm holding GAlex. At a bonus of 3, what can you replace him with, both now and after the weather breaks?

it was a tough decision, but in the end dropping Drogba has shot me up over 1500 places thus far and will continue to as he will be out for another 5 weeks and he has a Yellow Card Suspension to serve his first match back. However I was with many of you 90% sure to keep him only to decide to field EdS and Tuncay with Rooney at the last minute and that really worked out.

If only 1 match goes ahead my entire team will be players from that match, you can't let this go.

@Owen - You're 100% right my man, I would hold out until the very last minutes on deciding to keep my discounted players on drop. There's a possibility that all games will be cancelled. If for some reason there's a chance that the West Ham game is played, I'll invest mostly on them...I like the look of Stanislas, Green, Diamanti, and Franco. I'll also add some Villa players depending on news.

in fact, i would now change ONLY to players from West Ham and Man city's games. they MAY have a chance of playing. i still have arsenal players thou mind you. but i am not that optimistic now. this is the season to chip/chop/mix/match and not really following anyone.

in fact , there could be a lengthy ANC as games may be delay. i will not hold my breath as i had no drogba, its been serving me well. side note, IF K2 is back, where leaves RSC? lol. i will only be concern over this weekends game, getting the right players for the fixture(hopefully). and hopefully the weather don't screw me up again(!).

Kellz, a yellow card suspension doesn't wait for someone to come back. It's applied even if there was no chance of that player playing anyway.

Chris O.: the suspension will be carried out when he is back as he is active in ANC now. if he was injuried in chelsea (but not called up for ANC)[in this case, he is only active in EPL], his yellow card will have been 'used' up.

since he is away from epl(inactive in EPL as it is), his yellow card suspension had NOT been carried out. it will only be carried out when he is ACTIVE in EPL(that is to mean when he returns from ANC).
