Team news is in. Arsenal have Fab starting consecutive games for the first time in a while and welcome back Clichy and Denilson as well. Bolton drop Klasnic to pack the midfield.
Liverpool have Aquilani and Riera supporting Kuyt with N'Gog on the bench. Aurelio doesn't even make the sixteen, which is just brutal for me fantasy-wise. Spurs bring in King for Bassong in an otherwise unchanged eleven.
Line-ups:
Liverpool: Reina, Carragher, Skrtel, Kyrgiakos, Insua, Degen, Mascherano, Lucas, Riera, Aquilani, Kuyt.
Subs: Cavalieri, Maxi, Babel, Ngog, Spearing, Darby, Pacheco.
Tottenham: Gomes, Corluka, Dawson, King, Bale, Modric, Jenas, Palacios, Kranjcar, Crouch, Defoe.
Subs: Alnwick, Hutton, Pavlyuchenko, Keane, Giovani, Bassong, Rose
Arsenal: Almunia, Sagna, Gallas, Vermaelen, Clichy, Fabregas, Denilson, Diaby, Rosicky, Arshavin, Eduardo.
Subs: Fabianski, Vela, Walcott, Silvestre, Traore, Eastmond, Emmanuel-Thomas.
Bolton: Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Cahill, Knight, Robinson, Lee, Mark Davies, Muamba, Cohen, Taylor, Kevin Davies.
Subs: Al Habsi, Samuel, Elmander, Klasnic, Ricketts, McCann, Andrew O'Brien.
And for the completist:
Aston Villa: Guzan, Cuellar, Dunne, Collins, Warnock, Petrov, Milner, Downing, Ashley Young, Agbonlahor, Heskey.
Subs: Friedel, Luke Young, Sidwell, Albrighton, Delfouneso, Delph, Beye.
Blackburn: Robinson, Chimbonda, Samba, Nelsen, Givet, Emerton, Nzonzi, Pedersen, Olsson, Dunn, Kalinic.
Consider this your matchday open thread.
THud out too. Ugh! Friday trades (Don't Do It).
ReplyDeleteany player to pick up for next week from Bolton? (besides m taylor)

ReplyDeleteIt's currently 6-4 to Villa v Blackburn. Kallinic got 2 and is at home to Wigan next week. Worth a punt?
ReplyDeleteThe whole Liverpool team is now officially dead to me. I usually avoid them anyway due to Rafa's obsessive tinkering but couldn't resist Aurelio playing as a midfielder. Be sure that I will resist in future.
ReplyDeleteCJ SHIELDS
aquilani at 3.64...
ReplyDeleteBad start for me that got a lot better... No starts for Ngog, Thud and SeaBass plus a yellow for Bale. Then goals and assists from Cesc, goals from Arse Shavings and Vermaelen and an assist from Aquilani.
ReplyDelete60 points overall for the night, 160 for the week. I'm happy.
Can Howard Webb get Yahoo to put Defoe's goal up on here, it wont affect what liverpool are paying him im sure! :)
ReplyDeleteCan give him two for the penalty crouch earned too.
ReplyDeletei'm pretty happy with the points i had this week. 180. enuff to move up a few rungs.
ReplyDeleteto a more serious issue, why is Maxi not in fantasy epl? it been ages to port him in.

Sorry guys but Arshavin is still "DEAD"!!! I won't let his one game mediocre play get into my head. Don't get me wrong...realistically speaking, he's a great player...fantasy wise, no so much. Even at 12.xx I'm not buying him, if he were at 7 or 8, then yes.
ReplyDelete(Honduran-Saul)
most of my 8 double gamers and some blackburn defense helped me to 195 points. i moved up 4400 spots. those that said cesc, would not play the second and that he wasn' worth keeping last week, know who you are!
ReplyDeletehow did Huddles not even make the bench?
ReplyDelete@pitts - at 2.37, i definitely think Kali is worth a punt, if he'll start. great enabler, which i kind of need to keep Fab,Elk,Shrek,PienR,Verm,VdS,Modric discounts. having trouble figuring which one to let go...
ReplyDeleteGet rid of shrek , my advice. Manure have some tough games coming up. It is all up to you though. If you think he can still do the business in difficult games, then feel free to keep him.
ReplyDeleteAnother alternative is to drop modric. He is a good player in real life, but as seen from recent seasons in YFF doesn't usually score many points
