Portsmouth have signed former Liverpool and Blackburn midfielder David Thompson on a year-long deal.Not quite the level of an Anelka or even a Petrov, but Thompson has long been a blog favorite (he's guaranteed an assist and a yellow card every time he steps on the pitch) and we're glad to see him stay in the Premiership.
