Adam Out After Accumulation

Boss slams Adam decision - Yahoo! Eurosport
Blackpool boss Ian Holloway has branded the decision to show Charlie Adam a yellow card in Saturday's 1-0 victory at Stoke as 'absolute nonsense'.

Adam received the booking - his fifth of the campaign - from referee Anthony Taylor in the first half at the Britannia Stadium following an aerial challenge with Dean Whitehead.

It means the Seasiders captain will miss his side's Barclays Premier League clash with Tottenham next weekend, and Holloway felt the match official made the wrong call.
Adjust your line-ups accordingly.

First I think his star was falling anyway and I made the right decision ditching him a few weeks back. Makes a change for me to do that!

Second, anyone else surprised by the complete lack of consistently top-end performing strikers this season? After Drogs went off the boil there's been nobody else. Think the best option is to load up on premium middies in a 3-5-2. At present I have Heskey (4.38) and Chamakh (6.06). I might add Carroll at some point, but none of the premium strikers justify their prices.

  3. That could change with the likes of Defoe, van Persie, and Gabby coming back to health. And like Lampard in midfield, they are are cheap relative to their past performance. #opportunity
