Laughter is probably not really appropriate in regards to any injury news, but this did give me a chuckle.
Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has suffered a minor injury setback after returning from 18 months on the sidelines.Of course he's suffered a setback. I'd be stunned if he were healthy or able to play consecutive games at this point. Hell, at this point I think he's better off on the sidelines. For one, it makes guessing Arsenal's lineup easier and two, maybe he can be their scapegoat (in the biblical meaning). All the injuries and bad luck for the entire side should fall on his shoulders... or groin, back, thigh, whatever.
After playing half the recent pre-season game against Barnet, Rosicky was substituted as a precaution by boss Arsene Wenger.
The club have confirmed that he sustained a "minor problem" in the friendly on 18th July, with the 28-year-old subsequently left out of the Gunners' last three pre-season matches.
It is not yet known if he will take a part in the Emirates Cup pre-season tournament this weekend
