How quickly things change! 3-5-2:
Malouda's and Koumas' deals get finalized, so they come into the team. The potential reshuffle on the right side of Arsenal's squad lands Sagna and Eboue in the team. But as Eboue is a bit pricey, we're going from Cech down to VDS to save some cash.
Who's in your eleven?
Hmmm, I'm still not sure about Nani & Bale as starters, and I would prefer 3 strikers in week 1 considering it's a double-game week. Right now, I'm thinking along these lines (and I have not done accurate calculations...):
ReplyDeleteRVP
Torres
Carew
C-Ron
Malouda
Koumas
Kewell
Ben Haim
Rozenhal
Melchiot
VDS or whomever I afford
Glad the bloggers are still, uh, blogging... Don't you guys ever rest? In my starting XI, I'll be looking closely at the matchups--not all teams will be two gamers due to Champs League qualifiers, correct? While I'd love to load up on Arsenal players as the blog suggests, their match with Newcastle is likely to be postponed. So no RVP or da Silva for me, nor the bizarrely quaffed Sagna. Shame!
ReplyDeleteIf he has a good preseason, I think I'll find room for BFDA. He's likely to be cheap after missing all season, and hopefully hungry.
A good balance between new cheap players and tried and true regulars is the way to go. Hoping the new crop starts better than Sheva, Rosicky, and Ballack did last year.
C'mon you bloggers!
What about
ReplyDeleteArteta?
Fabregas?
VanPersie?
Also do you guys think that Eduardo will be Arsenals no-1 striker this year?
