Naysmith Joins The Blades

Sheffield United have completed the signing of Scotland international Gary Naysmith for £1million from Everton.

Naysmith, 28, has signed a three-year deal at Bramall Lane - ending a six-and-half-year stay with the Toffees.

It is the second piece of business between the sides in as many days, after the Blades yesterday agreed to sell Phil Jagielka to David Moyes' side for £4million.

I'll be sad to see Naysmith leave the Premiership. He's always been a blog favorite as he's been a great option when ever he's gotten playing time. Unfortunately, with injuries and competition for places (Nuno Valente and Joleen Lescott taking turns this season at left-back for Everton) that hasn't been too often lately.

As for Jags to Everton, Neal and I have gone over this before. He thinks it's a good move. I could care less.
