[M]anager Chris Coleman expects to change his entire starting line-up.Expect to see these names as needing to pass late fitness tests, which means having them in your lineup for Saturday will be 50-50. Both Jensen's are mainstays of many a fantasy team as they are relatively cheap for their productivity.
Injuries to Claus Jensen, Niclas Jensen and goalkeeper Tony Warner have convinced Coleman, already stretched by injuries, that he cannot afford to take any further risks ahead of next Monday's Premiership visit to Tottenham.
This will be an interesting test... keep them and hope they play, saving the money it would cost to replace them. Or sell them to avoid losing points but draining your bank balance to do so. WWJD (What Will Jeremy Do)?
Those players took slight knocks in their last EPL match, but only Zat Knight was reported to have come off through injury.
ReplyDeleteColeman didn't risk any of his regular starters in midweek, and mentioned the Jensens in his pregame comments only because they had picked up the aforementioned slight knocks. He specifically said he didn't want to risk them not being fit for the Spurs clash, which seems to indicate that they are fit.
I'd be suprised if any of them were left out.
That said, a Saturday deadline for a Monday night game is quite a risk in light of any hint of injury.
Thanks, VS. On the other hand, a Monday night game means more time to recover.
