The New Edgar Davids?

Zokora agrees Spurs move
Ivory Coast international Didier Zokora claims he has agreed a move to Tottenham Hotspur after shunning interest from other Premiership clubs.

Zokora has been one of the most in-demand midfielders in European football and a solid World Cup showing only enhanced his stock.

St Etienne have been resigned to losing the 25-year-old and it now appears Spurs have matched the French side's asking price.

Tottenham look ready to splash out £8.5 million on the midfield workhorse, who claims to have already agreed personal terms to move to White Hart Lane.

  1. Zakora...

    Ivorian for yellow card?

Doesn't seem like much of a fantasy prospect regardless of his ability to replace Davids or not.

  2. I'm not saying he's a fantasy prospect. In fact you would think a comparison to Davids would make that pretty clear. Just saying that they'll be able to keep their same midfield approach and formation, assuming they can hold on to Carrick.
