Not to step on Yanks Abroad's toes, but...

Everton are believed to be interested in signing Josh Wolff when the transfer window reopens in January.
Anyone else doubt that Wolff has what it takes to make the step up? No offense, becuase when healthy, he's been a great player for MLS and for the USA. But I'm not sure I can see him in the EPL.

Then again, you could argue that he's a striker in the Owen mold. He'll play on the line and get behind the defense.

What do you think?

  1. You can rest assured that the nice folks at YA are contacting people in Kansas City and at Everton to see if this is real or BS. Apparently, Wolff has sold his house in KC already but that may have as much to do with uncertainty over the Wizards and the real estate market than a move to Everton.

My take - Wolff would be a nice Championship striker but I can't see him starting many games in Everton's 4-5-1 formation. Not sure he's an improvement on Marcus Bent and Bent isn't starting.
