Boy, hard to say. Ferguson getting some revenge for basically being exposed as a liar about Rooney's pre-WC injury? Might be good for England though, give another striker a chance to establish himself. There just has to be a better option than Crouch in that squad.

ReplyDeleteAshton is a better target player than Crouch, he's a better passer, he can actually shoot the ball with his feet (both of them, even), and he seems unlikely to trip over his own feet anytime soon...
As much as I'm an Arsenal homer, Sven made the wrong call picking Walcott over Ashton.
