Robert leaves Rams for Toronto
Laurent Robert's brief stint at Derby has been brought to a close with the winger moving to Toronto FC.
The former Newcastle and Portsmouth player's Pride Park contract was cancelled by mutual consent, allowing him to join the MLS side as a free agent.

Anichebe eyes Derby return
Victor Anichebe hopes to be fit for Everton's clash with Derby on Sunday after being hospitalised by a stomach complaint.
The young striker returned from international duty with Nigeria last week and was forced to seek hospital treatment after experiencing severe pain and being unable to eat.

Galaxy F Ruiz undergoes knee surgery
Los Angeles Galaxy forward Carlos Ruiz underwent surgery on his right knee on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old Ruiz, who suffered the injury in Los Angeles’ season-opening 4-0 loss to the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, also suffered a sprained MCL to the knee.
A native of Guatemala, Ruiz had an arthroscopic procedure Tuesday
morning to repair a slight tear of the meniscus and is expected to miss
4-6 weeks.
