Bullard out until February

Rueters:
Hull City playmaker Jimmy Bullard will be out until the end of January after injuring his left knee at Aston Villa at the weekend, the Premier League club's manager Phil Brown said on Monday.

Jummy

Aquilani could debut against Sunderland

Soon to be a game worn souvenir?

Telegraph UK:
Sunday's 2-0 defeat against Chelsea highlighted Liverpool's need for a creative force alongside Steven Gerrard in the middle of the park and the upcoming international break should serve as enough time for Aqualini to complete his rehabilitation and take his place in the match-day squad on Oct 17.
From the bench one would assume.  But everytime I say that they start. Regardless something to keep an eye on as we come out of the international break.

UPDATE:  Or, maybe not.  Don't pencil him in until the end of the month, @Fulham in the League at the earliest.

And speaking of @Fulham, Jummy might be back for Hull's next match!

Bullard back in Fulham training

Fulham's Jimmy Bullard

Good news:

Jimmy Bullard returned to pre-season training with Fulham on Monday and is aiming to be back in action as quickly as possible. The 28-year-old midfielder, a £2.5million signing from Wigan last summer, has not played since dislocating his kneecap against Newcastle at the beginning of September.

Bad news:

"Hopefully it won't be too long before I'm kicking a ball around again.

"As I've said before, I don't want to set a specific date for my return but hopefully it won't be too long into the season and I can't wait to get back out on the pitch and thank the fans for all their support in the best way possible - by putting in some good performances.

Bullard began last season like a house on fire and looked to be a not only a great signing for Fulham - bringing energy and offering a real scoring threat from midfield - but a blossoming fantasy stud. Here's hoping he comes back soon. Kamara could use the service.
