Injury Updates: Can't Say We're Surprised...

Mixed injury news ahead of Bolton game | News Archive | News | Arsenal.com

News from the Arsenal camp is that Nasri will be back to training later this week (I wouldn't count on him to feature this weekend though) and that RvP will be on the bench until mid-October.  With RvP's injury history you can't think this comes as a big surprise.  Fantasy managers will be happy because this likely cements Arshavin, Chamakh, and Walcott as the three attackers.  The jury is still out on Chamakh who has yet to really find his footing but for Arshavin and Walcott (whom many may have at a significant discount) the news is good.

  2. watching ozil in a friendly today, i cannot believe that not one of the major teams from england, could not have used him. to pay only $12-$15 million for him, would not have stretched anyones budget except maybe liverpools. manure have never had a player as creative as ozil. drobga, anelka and malouda would double there output with ozil behind them. arsenal would have a successor to cesc. city have needed that position since they started spending money. tottenham and liverpool would certainly have gained a few spots with his signing and none of these teams could sign him.

News on Walcott is only an "ankle knock" and less than 2 weeks. Sure to miss this week though.
