Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech is set to miss the start of the new Premier League season after tearing a calf muscle in training on Tuesday.Hilario or Turnbull? I've never regretted not picking either of them in the past. But if we know who the number two is, he would certainly come into the conversation if Cech is missing for the first few weeks of the fantasy English Premier League season.
Cech, 28, is expected to be out for a month, during which Chelsea play four pre-season games and the Community Shield against Manchester United.
Opinion, commentary and humour on fantasy English Premier League football, the English Premier League, Major League Soccer and international football. From people who should know... better.

I'm liking this for a cheap goalie! If(when) Ars sign Schwarzer, he won't be cheap. Go with Hilario/Turnbull for first few weeks in hopes a top notch goalie soils the bed and his price drops!
ReplyDeleteThis would be great, but are we even going to have a YFF season this year? Seems to me it was up and running by now..
ReplyDeleteSleep easy, Kellz. It's coming. And soon. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAre you sure about that, Jeremy? Have you talked to anyone who knows for sure? Because it will be very calming if we can be certain that the YFF season will start soon.
ReplyDeleteSF

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to YFF season - if Jeremy says it's coming, it shall be so.
ReplyDeleteAlso thinking of trying the offical EPL game (http://fantasy.premierleague.com)
