Couldn't agree more, especially after watching all the Villa attacker picks lay an egg. They have a chance to score points tonight against Wigan, but I doubt they will tally much more than some of the nice single gamers.
No, no, there is no mockery here. Single gamers or double gamers.. either strategy is a fine one, if you ask me. It simply comes down to which option seems more sensible and less risky: a few Big Fat players with one home game, or a group of Slightly To Somewhat Less Fat players with two away games? I chose the latter with a flood of Villa players and came away 1.5 pt. behind one of my co-leaguers who opted for the other. I congratulate him for a team well picked but if I had to do it over I would do the same again because I still think it is more sensible and less risky. Plus, I think it would be a little different story had the Villas had two HOME games, as we may see NEXT week. May the force be with all the double timers.

ReplyDeletecan't hit em, can't lay off em.
ReplyDeleteGlad I stayed with one gamers. Rooney, Torres, Jummy, Bartender, AJohnson....thought it was going to kill me not doubling down on the villa players.
ReplyDeleteWith none of these, still had 145.
ReplyDeleteI still believe in the 2-gamers. Mock on!
Only had Drogba and finished the week with 151 points. Right there with you.
