With no early Premier League match (which I could have Live Chatted for) and life to attend to at the same time as the mid-day matches, there won't be a Live Chat today. I invite you to participate via the comments thread if you're so inclined.
My team is as follows: THo, Verm, Bale, Fox, Hutton, Cesc, Gerrard, Arteta, Maxi, Drogs, and Bendtner
Looking ahead to next weekend, Villa have two matches (as do Wigan) and Arsenal (@Hull), Spurs (vs. Rovers), and Liverpool (vs. Pompey) have favorable one-game match-ups. I'll be watching them most closely for the BD.
Cheers - Neal
Boo for not doing the live chat!
ReplyDelete..just kidding guys.
Well I'd just say C'mon Arsenal!!! And little Jacky scoring at Upton Park is amazing.
1-0 to the Arsenal!
ReplyDeleteFab4...just amazing goal.
and then he went off...hope it's just Wenger being careful ahead of the Porto game...
ReplyDeletei dropped wilshire & k davies for lee & klasnic
ReplyDeletei think that was a mistake!!
Rooney doesn't even make the bench, same for Fletcher. Klasnic doesn't see the pitch. Goodnight fantasy week.
ReplyDeleteGood call by Jeremy about Bale's position. He is indeed playing LW in front of BAE. Talk about the gift that keeps on giving (knock on wood!)

Speaking of trends I hope will continue from the FA Cup matches, I would love an encore performance of James' CS!

bad bad bad friday trade. sold walcott and gerrard and bought nani and klasnic.

It is still possible that Villa and Wigan DON'T have 2 matches. If Villa play a draw tomorrow at Reading there will be replay in Birmingham
ReplyDeleteBBC- Speaking of Rooney, Sir Alex Ferguson reckons the striker is a doubt for the Champions League second leg against AC Milan on Wednesday with his knee injury.
ReplyDeletetake note fellows.

ArsenalFC-"He has a hamstring problem and we don't know how big the damage is yet because it is too early. We'll see tomorrow or Monday. We have to make a late decision over whether he plays on Tuesday, certainly. It is the same hamstring [he hurt against Aston Villa earlier in the season]."

Brian - please say you could blame alcohol for the decision on that trade.
ReplyDelete- Bale looks ALOT more useful from the LB position. BAE did not make any runs forward, and Bale just for the most part hung out wide the entire game.
- will wait till next friday on Cesc's status...and Walcott is bound to get injured soon.
why you holding drogba ?

Really, USA soccer doesnt want to put some pressure on keeping Donaven playing in England in the lead up to the world cup? Is he and the US better off with him playing against college boys? What a joke the MLS is, he doesnt bring in any additional revenue to the league by playing....Oh maybe the need him to ensure they make this years play offs (wankers).
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he brings money to the league. He's the star attraction. He's MLS' Kobe Bryant, if not its Lebron.
ReplyDeleteHmm...I think it's Becks who's getting people in the seats when the Galaxy are in town, Donovan was in LA and SJ for some time without drawing much but if LA is going to let Becks go walkabout then Donovan, as probably the only thing close to an American world class outfield player (although Dempsey is close), can't also be let to abandon the team too
ReplyDeleteBeckham is to Crosby what Malkin is to Donovan.
ReplyDeletewhats with bang a whore for next week, had him in my lineup then he gets sick ahead of the fa cup game with reading?
