Unfortunately, I am not available for either of the earlier two match slots but fear not, for those of you who are planning to watch the Arsenal match, I'll be back to comment on that match, recap Barn Door options from earlier in the day, and answering your questions.
In the meantime, here is my line-up and some early thoughts on the Barn Door for next week:
Line-up: BBBF, Verm, Bale, Hutton, Milner, Nasri, Wilshere, Arteta, Drogba, Gabby, Bendtner
BD Notes: West Ham, Wolves, Chelsea, Rovers, Pompey, and Brum have two matches each - Chelsea are particularly interesting with Rovers and Pompey the opposition albeit both on the road. Probably worth keeping a close eye on Turnbull and Ferriera as inexpensive alternatives for getting in on that action. Among the one-gamers Arsenal host WHU and Villa host Wolves are the most attractive.
More later on the chat!
Cheers - Neal
yahoo is again wrong on DG:

ast also has dg, and some others...keep this in mind
On the Barn Door - Currently it looks like Yahoo Fantasy is missing 2 games on their list:
ReplyDelete3/24 - Aston Villa vs Sunderland
3/24 - Man City vs Everton
Don't know what happened. But apparently Soccernet lists those two games as "Postponed".
ReplyDeletehttp://soccernet.espn.go.com/scoreboard?league=eng.1&date=20100324&cc=3888
- No CS for Turnbull.
ReplyDelete- Gabby on the bench. Milner with a yellow
- Pavy with 2 goals. Bale with 1 assist and MOTM. a +10 now.
- Interesting about the fixtures. I'm assuming that the Barclays website is more accurate and Yahoo will be adding them.?
add:
ReplyDelete- Jensen with a yellow and 2 GA...
- Fox injured.
BD'd FloMo.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing life has interrupted the BD Live. C'mon Neal, get your priorities in order. ;)
ReplyDeleteJUMMMMMMMMY!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese commentators are so Pro-Gooners.
ReplyDeletePoints are up but values haven't increased yet. Last chance to BD FloMal and Drogs (if you don't have him already). Parker, Jerome, and Jarvis will see increases and are also possibilities. Turnbull only ended up with 3, so not as much of a concern.
ReplyDeleteArshavin should have had 40 points by now. His misses have been terrible. Hope Bendtner can do something in the last 20 minutes.
ReplyDeleteBENDTNERRRRRRRR!
ReplyDelete"BENCHTNER" NO MORE!!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know donovan's status at everton? Is he coming back on Monday or will he factor in their upcoming double week?
ReplyDeleteThanks,
carbon
Currently he's headed to the US/MLS. I really think the strike snags with MLS may send him back, but if so, with a possible gap where he is away.
ReplyDeleteMoyes confirms the plan for him to leave.

n'zogbia got thrashed 4-0 but 17.5pts!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very dicey game.. I hope the gunners nail it right.. Though is a gone away match, but sure victory for the gunners..
ReplyDeleteAdam Johnson on the bench....Damn
ReplyDeleteTop 1000, at last. Keeping the faith with Rooney at 16.xx pays off huge, and I'm up to 877. First time all year inside the top 1000. I thought I wasn't going to be able to get there at all this year.
ReplyDeleteCongrats J. Dunn. I've been working my way up the table the second half of the season. Worked my way from 15,000 up inside the top 4,000 in the past 8 weeks. Hopefully I can get into the top 1,000 by season's end.
ReplyDeleteHow about that goal from Adam Johnson? That couldn't have been better placed. Unreal.
Anyone think Drogba may get rested for the Portsmouth match given the CL tie this week and a bigger match against AV 3 days later?
ReplyDeletethis blog has gone downhill. the main men don't even know the freakin' fixtures.
ReplyDeleteQuestion: if i want to barndoor someone, can i wait till before Saturday 7am to save??
ReplyDeletenewbie
Since games are being played between now and then, there is no guarantee the price will stay the same.
ReplyDeletethe forgotten MAN HAS SCORED Mr Aqualani hez u n running can we trust rafa m still not so sure
ReplyDelete- Drogba could be rested. CL is more important and Portsmouth are looking terrible against Liverpool (a good remedy for a team that's in a slump) but I have Drogs at 10.66 so makes no difference to me. Never dropping him.
ReplyDelete- Maxi/Aquaman having good game, but BD them?! I wouldn't. they play Man U next week. Especially Aquaman. That man has disappointed me time and time again.
- Any word on those missing games? The newspaper here did not have them in the schedule either, but Barclays continues to show them being on. (Man City's website says their game is on, and Sunderland's website says the game in on) Adam Johnson was a solid BD option then!
Stevie G with a nice elbow/forearm to Brown's head. Maybe reviewable?! suspension worthy. But it's the golden boy so I highly doubt it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like I'm keeping Torres at 15 and change now(2 goals). Mr. Finnan, way to do nothing in backtracking. Pompey are sadly horrid.
ReplyDeleteyea. Torres having 2 goals and 2 assists makes it very hard to drop him, despite having only one game this coming week (and a tough one at that).
ReplyDeleteTorres did well, and pool did well... but it was against pompey. we shouldn't get too excited by this. Portsmouth are bottom of the log and they were travelling! I'm sure Hull would look good in the championship and would beat scunthorpe 4-1 at home.
ReplyDeleteAs of This Morning - Missing Games have been added to Yahoo!
ReplyDelete3/24 - Aston Villa vs Sunderland
3/24 - Man City vs Everton
No CS points for Villa today. N'Zog with an assist. Not looking great for me so far.
