Arsenal are set to be without injured Gael Clichy, Philippe Senderos and Abou Diaby until at least October, Arsene Wenger has revealed."Clichy hurt? So if Cole goes to Chelsea, is Flamini Arsenal's starting left back? And will he have to slot in next to Pascal Cygan?
Just a thought.... is Lauren healthy? If so, can either he or Eboue switch to left back?
I support Arsenal myself an I really can't understand why Campbell was released and Cygan retained! No Arsen, No, never play Cygan again!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more unless there's a last minute center back signing on the way. A long-since-retired Van Basten made our boy Cygan look pretty silly in the Testimonial - granted, it was a sweet move but last I checked Marco was COACHING the Dutch side, not playing for it. I guess the only upside is that Cruyff didn't out-sprint Pascal.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, if Sol isn't good enough for center back-bare Newcastle then we may be better off lining up Djourou and Kolo and hoping neither of them gets hurt or accumulates cards before Senderos gets back in OCT.
