The Argentinian, who had a clause in his contract allowing him to speak to Premiership clubs, will join Boro as the club prepare to sell Franck Queudrue to Fulham.First let me say that I'm not quite convinced that anything Southgate has done is revolutionary. As for this addition, I think it's good for Boro but will probably have little impact for fantasy managers. I am assuming (and we all know what happens when you do that) that the left back position is Pogatetz's to lose, and Downing has the left side of midfield for as long as he wants... or until he's sold to a bigger club.
Perhaps the more interesting move is Queudrue to Fulham. He should go right into the staring XI there and has been a good fantasy producer (though prone to too many yellow and red cards) for several years.
